My husband and I just listened to the CD yesterday for the first time. What a beautifully inspiring (and inspired!) performance on all counts, and an effectively assembled collection of diverse arrangements. There is nothing stale about any of the treatments of these hymns -- in fact, they are enlightening and infuse new insights into those tried and true tunes we love so well. I especially liked "O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus" and "What Wondrous Love is This," though the entire CD is superior both musically and how it is put together. Kudos to you -- I know it will be a blessing to many!
Tonight we attended a banquet with several other churches for a teen pregnancy outreach. The background piano music was Tim Shaw. My son is learning the piano and we asked for the name of the CD knowing he will thorughly enjoy his music and be encourged. The hymns are very soothing and played the way I remember them to always be. The CD is truly a blessing. God Bless
